Returns & Refunds Policy

1. Overview

We want you to feel confident purchasing from InkFlowCalligraphy. Because our works are handmade and often made-to-order, our returns policy is designed to balance clarity, fairness, and respect for the creative process.

This policy operates in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

2. Change of mind

We do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind. Please choose carefully before placing your order, and feel free to contact us if you have any questions before purchasing.

3. Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at hello@inkflowcalligraphy.com with photos and details.

Where a product is deemed faulty under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy, which may include:

  • A replacement (if available)

  • A repair (if applicable)

  • A refund

  • Or store credit (where appropriate)

4. Returns eligibility

Where a return is approved, items must:

  • Be returned in their original condition

  • Be securely packaged to prevent damage in transit

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.

5. Non-returnable items

The following items are not eligible for return unless faulty:

  • Custom or personalised artworks

  • Made-to-order calligraphy pieces

  • Digital products (if applicable)

  • Items that have been used, altered, or damaged after delivery

6. Return shipping

Unless the item is faulty or required under Australian Consumer Law:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method

We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

7. Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider, but typically occur within 5–10 business days after approval.

8. International orders

For international customers, customs duties, taxes, or import fees are not refundable.

9. Gifts

If an item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, we may offer store credit once the return is received and approved. If the order was not marked as a gift, refunds will be issued to the original purchaser.
